Salary: from 1.800 EUR/month, depending on skills and experience + benefits. The final offer for the selected candidate will reflect the candidate´s comprehensive assessment, skills, and past work experience.

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer with a backend-oriented mindset (Java) who is eager to grow and gain hands-on experience across the stack, including frontend development (Vue.js) and basic DevOps tasks when needed. Our Kosice-based team develops modern applications in the telematics domain, working with real-time data and scalable platforms. This role is a great opportunity for a developer early in their career to learn from experienced teammates, work on real production systems, and grow both technically and professionally in a supportive environment.
As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will primarily support backend development, such as APIs, services, and data processing, under guidance from more senior engineers. You will also contribute to frontend development, assist with DevOps-related activities, and gain exposure to Generative AI tools and APIs as part of everyday development and automation.
What you'll do:
- Support the development and maintenance of backend services and APIs
- Assist with frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews)
- Learn and follow coding standards, best practices, and QA processes
- Continuously develop technical skills and domain knowledge with mentoring and support
- Use and experiment with Generative AI tools (e.g. for coding assistance, documentation, testing, or automation)
What you'll bring:
Key skillsets:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java SE or another backend language
- Familiarity with the Spring ecosystem (Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate)
- Messaging technologies (JMS / ActiveMQ)
- Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and a modern frontend framework
- Vue.js is preferred (React or Angular is acceptable)
- Understanding of RESTful services and API concepts
- Experience with Git and basic build tools (Maven or Gradle)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
- Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure (or willingness to learn)
